It was the yummy chocolate log (made of sponge cake and butter icing) and that was where it sat whilst it was dusted with icing sugar (probably what some of you would call powdered sugar) before being taken to the table.

confectioner's sugar! That's what I call it, anyway. For confections. Such as this beautiful chocolate log.
